A centuries-old park

The Villa is located at the top of a small hill surrounded by a centuries-old park of 35,000 square meters, a true botanical garden populated by innumerable rare plants. In 1903, the German textile industrialist Maximilian Heydweiller bought a vast terrain that extended from the extreme hilly areas of Gardone Sopra to the lakeside lands of Fasano. He commissioned the architects "Voltz & Wimmer” of Strasbourg to design a prestigious representative villa. The famous botanist Wilhelm Halm, to whom Gardone owes its fame as a "Garden City," was called upon to transform the hill into a beautiful large park.

This dominant position gives the Hotel Villa del Sogno a wide, unique and luminous view of Lake Garda, stretched at its feet like a tranquil blue carpet that offers different emotions with each new light.
